Wonderful ecological and hi-tech idea on Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa

 

The ecological project Leap - Living ecological alpine pod – is an idea of ??Turin’s farm that aims to use new technologies “Cleantech” for the sustainable use of the mountain getting a low environmental impact. Leap is a brand, and it’s all Italian. It consist in the construction of a “camp-house” that can’t alter in any way the place where it's put, it’s completely autonomy energy thanks to the photovoltaic equipment installed and a comprehensive management of waste products. With 6 mod­ules, it weighs about 2.000 kilos and encloses 29 square meters includ­ing sleep­ing areas, a liv­ing unit with cook­ing facil­i­ties, bath­room, and a spec­tac­u­lar view from the acrylic picture-window end of the tube.
