The Quintana Carousel

The Quintana Carousel is a chivalric tournament which takes place every year in Foligno, with its last part on the second Sunday of September. It is a real horse race, which points out the skills and the faithfulness of a knight, played in historic baroque costumes, following the ancient tradition of Umbria so charming and beautiful.

The private event: Enjoy the Quintana Carousel from a special position, on a private grandstand.

Baroque gala dinner in an historic palace, enjoying the atmosphere of the 7th century, during which pageantry, music and jugglers keep the medieval spirit alive in the streets of the beautiful town.

Guided visit of the museum of the Quintana and of tailor’s shop of Foligno, during the preparation of the baroque costume for the historical parade.

Take part in the historic parade, with a cast of about 1,500 people all dressed in medieval costume, to live again the emotions of the past.

Overnight at Borgo Hotel le Terre del Verde, a perfect microcosm originally built in the 11th Century, where guests can taste the best traditional Umbrian dishes and rediscover a sense of balance and well being.
